I design my maps using the Trackmania editor, starting with the driving line first. I focus on getting the flow right and let friends test the map early on. Once I’m confident that the gameplay won’t change anymore, I move on to decoration.
For each map, I choose a clear visual style, sometimes inspired by real-world environments or existing Trackmania maps. I want every track to have its own character and offer something new. I often drive my own maps while decorating, so I see exactly what the player sees. That helps me decide which moments deserve more visual attention and which parts can stay quieter. For me, it’s not just about building a track, but about shaping the full experience of driving through it.
